What you need to know
- All surf lessons take place on 20th St. Beach
- All participants must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water
- We encourage our instructors to meet each child’s abilities and comfort level, but surf lessons do take a lot of energy and patience.
- Be prepared to work hard!
- Summer 2011 Surf Lessons are MONDAY - SUNDAY with morning sessions starting at 8:00am - 10:00am , evening sessions are 5:00pm - 7:00pm
- Surf Lesson Rates are $50 per hour or $30 per half hour
- ALL PAYMENTS ARE TO BE MADE ON THE DAY OF THE LESSON. We pay your instructor after the lesson is over and you are satisfied.
- Tips are always appreciated!
- We DO NOT tolerate NO SHOWS. Please call ASAP if you need to cancel. Our lessons book quickly, so if you miss your lesson that leaves an open spot for someone that would have loved to learn how to surf!!
- Your lesson will be cancelled at our discretion due to inclimate weather, rip curents and strong winds.
What is needed for the lessons
You do not need anything for the lesson. We provide the boards and a few wetsuits. If you have a board of your own, bring it, and we will teach you to ride on your own board! Some people like to wear wetsuits, rash guards and or board shorts, to prevent rash that is sometimes caused by surfing. Remember to wear a reliable athletic swimsuit!!
